The restored house of Vinko Trubić, a famous Croatian ethnologist, is situated on the island of Krk, the biggest and the greenest Croatian island, only 2 hours’ drive from Zagreb, far away from traffic jams and everyday stress and just 3 km away from the sea.
Today, Villa Mirta is a cultural monument and it keeps his original musical instruments as well as numerous songs which he composed during his lifetime.
The villa consists of three floors: a basement, the ground floor and the first floor and can host up to 6 persons. The accommodation unit consists of a kitchen and a dining room, a living room, a toilet, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and a spacious terrace.
The basement of Villa Mirta has preserved the function of a real Croatian Littoral tavern and it offers a wide range of vines from all parts of Croatia.
Close your eyes for a moment and we will get you back to the past, to some other, more beautiful times, times without smog and stress, to the house where time passes slowly and memories last forever.
